In Boston, of Taunton, September 2, 2010 William A. “Shoemaker” husband of Judith D. (Joubert) Charette died at Tufts Medical Center in Boston at the age of 76. Born and educated in Taunton, William was the son of the late Walter and Aurore (Desrosiers) Charette. William was a retired landscaper for Paul A. Dever State School and Wheaton College in Norton. He was a member of the Italian Naturalization Social Club and the P.A.C.C. in Taunton. William was the father of Donna Charette of Taunton, Alan Charette of Taunton, Errol Charette and his wife Cynthia of Taunton and Michael Charette and his wife Heidi of Taunton. Brother of Linda Rezendes and Anita Andrade both of Taunton. Grandfather of Thirteen and Four Great Grandchildren. A service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday, September 7th at 11 AM. Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-8 PM. Interment will be private.
