Karen Hancock Hutto, 72, of Ocilla, Georgia died Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Palemon Gaskins Nursing Home in Ocilla.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, September 3, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with Rev. Dan Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in the Ocilla Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7-9 Thursday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Hutto was born October 12, 1937, in Ocilla, Georgia to the late M.A. and Emma Scott Hancock. She was a homemaker. She lived in Irwin County most of her life and was a former resident of Ashburn. Mrs. Hutto was a member of the Ocilla Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, needlepoint and crocheting.
Mrs. Hutto is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Dane & Lillie Hutto of Fitzgerald and David & Darlene Hutto of Lake Charles, LA; a daughter and son-in-law: Denise & Bill Davis of Covington; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.A. Hutto and a brother, Jerry Hancock.
