Paul, Opal Mae (Brinegar), 93, of Louisville passed away on Monday, August 30, 2010 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
Opal retired after 22 years of service from General Electric. She was a member of Eastern Star and attended Valley View Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Guthrie T. Paul; son, Donald Ray True, Sr.; sisters, Anna Bell Henry and Virginia Hensle; and brother, William Brinegar.
Opal is survived by her children, Zimmer Carl True of Louisville, Mary Jane Franks (Kenneth) of Williamstown, KY, and Bernice Foll of Baltimore, MD; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann True of Louisville; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and one sister, Ernestine Tomlinson of Lexington, KY.
Funeral service will be 11am on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens – West.
Visitation for the public will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
