Kevin Michael McCann, 45, of New Bedford died unexpectedly Friday August 27, 2010. He was the loving husband of Rick Munroe.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Stephen F. McCann and the late Nancy (Reagan) McCann, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Kevin spent the past ten years as a unit support supervisor for High Point Treatment Center, helping those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, comedy shows, yard sales, thrift stores, and just driving around in his convertible.
He is survived by his loving husband Rick Munroe; his daughter, Maegan Rodrigues and her husband Eric; his stepchildren, Abigail L. Hauptman and her husband James, Alison W. Munroe, and Andrew R. Munroe; his granddaughter, Joy Abigail Hauptman; his siblings, Patricia A. Nadeau of East Freetown, Sean P. McCann of New Bedford, Timothy J. McCann and his wife Deborah of Fairhaven, and Justin R. McCann and his wife Debra of Dartmouth; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Colleen Powers, Thomas J. McCann, and Michael B. McCann.
