Mary Ludie (Atkins) Hartman, 82, Clarksville, died Monday, August 30, 2010, at her residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Mickey Richaud and Dr. Rev. Dorothy Hartzog officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - West. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born February 19, 1928 in Clarksville, TN, daughter of the late Fred Elmore Atkins and Mallie McGregor Atkins. She was also preceded in death by a brother M.C. Atkins and a sister, Frances Schwab. Mrs. Hartman was a retired registered nurse and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Survivors include her husband, Kenyon K. Hartman; three daughters, Leslie Hartman, and Ellen McCollum (Tim) both of Clarksville; and Kenny Hartman (Scott Jones), Brentwood, TN; two brothers, Ken Atkins, Clarksville; and Freddy Atkins, Austin, TX; three sisters, Ann Green, Nashville, TN; Ellen Carlsen, Clarksville, TN; and Kathryn Hurst, Columbia, TN; and one grandson, John Kenyon McCollum. Pallbearers will be Tim McCollum, Scott Jones, John Kenyon McCollum, Russell Eisenhardt, Mike Gibson, and Luciano Escabedo.
