Lorraine (Wilder) Strong, 90, died Friday, August 27, 2010 at Mystic Healthcare. She was born on May 16, 1920, in Hartford, the daughter of Ellis and Eugenia (Hitchen) Wilder.
Lorraine and her husband, Horace S. Strong, who died in 2007, were longtime residents of Wethersfield and were active members of Central Baptist Church in Hartford.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy S. Harding of Norwich, one grandson and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 8, at 4:30pm at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 19 Jay Street, New London CT. Burial will be held on Friday, September 10 at 1:30pm in Rose Hill Cemetery, Rocky Hill CT.
