Bettie Davidson Page, 76, of Tifton died Sunday, August 29, 2010, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Dr. Danny Ray and Rev. Glenn Ford will officiate. Lee Page, Jay Heraebia, George Sumner, Wayne Martin, Jack Cooper, Chuck Hill, Dustin Hill and Mark Hill will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Page was born on April 17, 1934 in Tifton and was the daughter of Kermit Davidson and Nannie Lee Sewell Davidson, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul George Page. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Kermit Donald “Duck” Davidson; and two sisters, Marolyn Davidson Cooper and Deloris Davidson Butts. She was the office manager at Sumner Construction Company and a lifetime resident of Tifton.
Ms. Page is survived by her loving companion and care-giver of 17 years, Charlie Hill of Tifton; one step-son, Paul Lee Page of Albany; one sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Tommy Cottle of Tifton; care-giver and loving niece, Kelly Cooper Kearny and a loving best friend, Helen Harbuck.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Hospice of Tiftarea, to whom the family of Ms. Page would like to extend their gratitude for the wonderful care given to Ms. Page.
