Obituary

Clayton M. Coggon, of Plymouth, passed away August 27th at the age of 87. Mr. Coggon was a WWII Army veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater. He retired as a supervisor from the former New England Telephone Company which later became AT&T. He worked for over 40 years before retiring.

Preceding him in death was his loving wife, Helen, a granddaughter, Kara, three brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his sons, Steven Coggon and his wife Sally of Toms River, NJ; Curtis Coggon and his wife Kathy of Chicopee, MA; and a daughter, Mary W. Coggon of Quincy.

He was the grandfather of James P. Donnelly and his wife Jena of Millbury, MA; Caitlin Coggon of Toms River, NJ; Mark and Matthew Coggon of Chicopee. He was the great grandfather of Grace, Kenny and James Donnelly.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 31st at the Plymouth County Cemetery, South Meadow Rd, at 10 AM. There are no visiting hours.

The family wishes to give their sincere thanks to the neighbors, doctors and nurses for their compassionate care of our father. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the charity of your choice in his name.
