Edmund J. Curry age 80 of Stoughton passed away unexpectedly August 28th at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born and raised in Boston, he attended Boston English High School. He worked as a Lineman and Foreman for New England Telephone for over 30 years before retiring. He was a resident of Stoughton for over 50 years where he was a member of the Stoughton Fourth of July Committee. He was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Beloved husband of the late Marcelyn E. (Marsh). Father of William J. of Uxbridge & Steven F. & his wife Carol of Wareham. Father in law of Kathleen Curry of Canton. Brother of William Curry of R.I., Joan Puopolo of Reading, Patricia Leary of Dennis, Ann Perneta of Holbrook, Kay Kelly of Weymouth & the late Marie Lindley & Helen Curry. Grandfather of Kaitlyn Barry, William P. & Patrick Curry, Stephanie Keeley, Rebecca & Sharon Curry. Great grandfather of John Keeley & Madeline Barry. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 2-4 & 6-9. Funeral mass at the Immaculate Conception Church Stoughton Thursday morning at 10:30.
