Annette Poole Reeves, 67, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the Fitzgerald Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Rev. Steve Hand and Dr. Mike Ruffin officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Saturday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reeves was born September 21, 1942 in Dodge County, Georgia to the late W.H. and Mallie Jones Poole. She lived in Fitzgerald most of her life. Mrs. Reeves was a former employee of H.R. Kaminsky & Sons, Modern Fibers and she worked on the family farm. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Reeves is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Hal & Jennifer Wiley of Fitzgerald; daughter and son-in-law: Pam & Kevin Brown of Fitzgerald; step children: Gail & Phil Stokes, William Reeves, Wanda Reeves & Tommy Warner, all of Fitzgerald; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law: Myrt & Marshall Wilson and Arlane & Ray Davis, all of Fitzgerald; sister-in-law: Jean Poole, brother-in-law: Wiley Griffin both of Fitzgerald as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Reeves, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
