
Amanda McCain Pipkin, age 38 , died on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at her home in Coffeeville, MS. She was born in Water Valley, MS on May 15, 1972 to Billy Joe McCain and Judy Beard Zinn. Amanda was a homemaker and she attended the First United Methodist Church of Coffeeville, MS. She loved traveling on cross-country road trips with her husband, Donnie, in his 18 wheeler. Amanda was a sketch artist, she loved fishing and hunting, and she enjoyed raising her farm animals.
The visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Billy McCord and Bro. Raymond Aven officiating. Interment will take place at Goshen Cemetery in Coffeeville, MS with Scotty Holland, Michael Mitchell, Edd Stevens, Thomas Nichols, Eddie Pipkin and Alfred Pipkin serving as pallbearers.
Amanda is survived by her spouse, Donnie Pipkin of Coffeeville, MS; one step-son, Alex “Big Al” Pipkin of Coffeeville, MS; her father, Billy Joe (Ella Jean) McCain of Coffeeville, MS; her mother, Judy Zinn of Plantersville, MS; two sisters, Sara Dodd of Saltillo, MS and Heather McCain of Tupelo, MS; a step-sister, Melinda (Tony) Shields of Pontotoc, MS; one brother, Wayne Rosco of Abbeville, MS; two step-brothers, Eugene (Pam) Pipkin of Charleston, MS and Frank (Myrna) Pipkin of Southaven, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
