Stephen E. Robinson, 57, a lifelong resident of Mansfield passed away on Thursday August 26, 2010 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, following a period of declining health.
Born in Attleboro, MA on January 6, 1953 he was a son of the late Adair (Enman) Robinson and the late Edward Robinson.
Steve grew up in Mansfield, was educated in Mansfield public schools, and was a 1971 graduate of Mansfield High School. He furthered his studies to become a graduate of Cape Cod Community College.
He worked in Inventory Control for various area companies which included the Foxboro Co, the L.G. Balfour Co., Hub Folding Box, Ro-Jacks and DiMontes in Mansfield.
An avid reader, Steve had a lifelong love of music, jazz trumpet being his favorite. One of his favorite groups throughout his life was the Four Freshmen. When younger he was an avid cyclist.
He is survived by his sister Cheryl A. Robinson of Mansfield. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles.
His Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Tuesday August 31st at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday August 30th from 5-7 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield.
