Obituary

Thomas E. Bauer, of Carver, passed away on August 25th at the age of 87 at the Life Care Center. Survived by his beloved wife Lucille (Lebreton) and his son James Bauer of Carver. He also leaves his sisters Claire Mangelsen of FL, Phyllis Brundige of Carver, Ann Noel of Falmouth and Carol Whittier of Douglas; his 2 grandchildren Michelle and Scott and his 2 great grandchildren James and Nicholas. Thomas was born in Boston and had worked for Kinney Vacuum for over 25 years as a machinist. He joined the U.S Army and served during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post 40 and enjoyed woodworking and especially spending time with his family. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 2nd at 9 o’clock at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Carver followed by burial at the Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne. There are no visiting hours.
