Mr. Joseph J. Moscaritolo 75, of Medford died Thursday in Lawrence Memorial Hospital Medford. He was the husband of Josephine (Parisi) Moscaritolo with whom he shared more than 54 years of marriage. Mr. Moscaritolo was born in Boston, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Triano) Moscaritolo. He is a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam Era. He was a Technician, and worked for RCA. He and his wife loved to travel and took many cruises together. An advocate and active member of several veteran organizations, he served as Commander of the D.A.V of Medford Chapter #21, Past Commander of D.A.V. District #3, Past Commander of AMVET Post #21 Melrose, Past Golden Rodent–National Order of Trench Rats- Dugout #103, Life member of Vietnam Veterans of America-Stoneham Post #837, D.A.V. State Representative for the Soldier’s Home in Chelsea for over 30 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by nephews Nicholas & his wife Angela Grassa; Louis & his wife Rhonda Grassa. Grand uncle of Christopher & Anthony Grassa. Beloved cousin of Sally Mancuso. Cousin of Patty and Joe Ferringo and several other cousins, aunts and uncles. Brother of the late Connie Ciampa.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street MEDFORD Monday at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church 441 Fellsway West, Medford at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 pm. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery Malden.
