Manuel Dale Rose, 35, of New Bedford died Saturday November 22, 2003 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Januario and Maria (Neves) Tavares of Brockton, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.
He was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
Mr. Rose was employed as a waiter at OceAnna Restaurant in New Bedford, and also worked at Morse Lumber Company in Wareham.
He was a loveable caring person who loved people and life.
Survivors include his parents; his fiancée, Tracy Lynn Barrows of New Bedford; a brother, Jeffrey Rose, and his wife Jennifer, of Houston, Texas; 2 sisters, Patricia Rose, and her companion, Joe Soares, and Belinda Robinson, and her companion, Clarence Williams, all of Brockton; an aunt, Patricia Neves of Cranston, RI; his godchild, Tyler Rose of Brockton; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.He was the grandson of the late Manuel and Maria deJusta Concorde.
