Joan Curello Davis of Teaneck, NJ died suddenly on August 17, 2010 at the age of 74. Daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Curello; sister to the late Mary Curello Bonadies; survived by five nieces and nephews, she was born on January 4, 1936 in New Haven, CT. A graduate of Albertus Magnus College, New Haven, CT in 1958, Joan was briefly employed with the U.S. Agency for International Development, was a freelance writer, a local political activist and a concerned citizen of Teaneck.
A memorial service will be held at Volk Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ from 6-8 pm on Thursday August 26th. The service will be followed by a Community Candlelight Vigil outside the funeral home.
