LEICESTER;Stephen E. Dudley 86 of 11 Harberton Dr., died Friday Nov. 21 at The Meadows of Leicester. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Doris L. (Walden) Dudley, three sons David A. Dudley of E.Boothbay, Me., Daniel A. Dudley and Dean A. Dudley both of N.Oxford, a daughter Dorothy A. Dudley of Worcester, two grandchildren, Miranda and Rebecca Dudley, several nieces and nephews. A brother Harrison A. Dudley and a sister Ruth G. Glover predeceased him. Mr. Dudley was a graphic artist at Holmes Electrotype in Worcester for 34 years, reitiring in 1979. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the Cherry Valley American Legion Post 443. He graduated from Leicester High School and later attended Northeastern University (Worcester Campus). He was a 50+year lifetime member of the Montacute Lodge of Masons A.F.& A.M. in Worcester. He was a member of the Leicester Federated Church. Mr. Dudley served on various Town Boards in Leicester including the Planning Board, Advisory Board and was a Town registrar. Born in Worcester he was the son of George H. and Elizabeth (Cullen) Dudley. Private graveside services will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester at the conveneince of the family.
