New Bedford –Antonio L. Rego age 64 died Friday August 20, 2010 unexpectedly. Antonio was the loved husband of Olivia Rego of New Bedford, loved father of Laurie Rego of New Bedford and Michael Rego of Fall River, loved grandfather of Hannah Rego and Madisyn Bozarth, loved brother of Joao L, Jose L, Armindo L, Norberto L, and Ricardo L. Rego and Ana Grota. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, brother and sister in laws.
Mr. Rego was born in Ribeira Quente, São Miguel, Açores, Portugal, he was the son of the late Carlota Linhares deDeus and Antonio doRego. He worked as a fish cutter at DeMello’s Market.
Mr. Rego’s funeral will be at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Wednesday at 8 A.M. with his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will take place at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 5-8 P.M.
