Johnathan "Shane" Harnage, 19, of Tifton died Saturday, August 21, 2010, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Dr. Danny Ray will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. Jackie Black, Gregory Walker, Steven Harnage, Brad Brooks, Brian Sealy, Keith Walker and Zay Billington will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Shane was born on June 18, 1991 in Tifton and was the son of Juan Vazquez and Sharon Harnage of Tifton. He was of the Baptist faith and had lived in Tifton all of his life.
In addition to his parents, Shane is survived by one brother, Steven Harnage; five sisters and one brother-in-law, Melissa Rodriquez, Karri Harnage Sealy and her husband, Brian Sealy, Alley Vazquez, Becky Vazquez and Anna Vazquez; his grandparents, Bobby and Linda Harnage; one niece; and one nephew.
