Funeral Services for Charles Marion Payne, age 72, of Canton, Georgia, will be held Saturday August 21, 2010 at 11:00 A. M. at the Bethel Baptist Church, Sycamore, Georgia with burial to follow in the Live Oak Cemetery. Mr. Payne died August 11, 2010 after a long illness.
Mr. Payne was the son of the late Rev. Clifford M. & Amelia Jane Nicks Payne. He was a Building Contractor, served in the U. S. Air Force, a member of the Christian Faith and a long time resident of Turner County.
He is survived by his wife, Requelen Pirkle Payne, and his sons, Steven Charles & wife Monika Payne, and Scott Marion Payne - all of Canton, GA,
two brothers Carl Wesley Payne, Miami Springs, FL and Joseph Arnall Payne, Clewiston, FL and a sister, Edith Spradlin, Newnan, Ga.
The family will receive friends Six until Eight Friday evening at the funeral home.
