Joseph Gordon Speth, 88, Clarksville, died Thursday, August 12, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday at Grace Chapel Cemetery on Rossview Road with Bro. Steve Lannom Rev. Sandy Shawhan officiating. Burial will be in Grace Chapel Cemetery. The remains are to be cremated. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born July 10, 1922 in Vencennes, Indiana. He was a World War II veteran and served in Pearl Harbor and D-Day. He was retired from Perkins and Miller where he served as the manager of the Tire Center. He was a member of the St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church and a former member of the St. Bethlehem Civitan Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Powell Speth and one daughter, Dianne Speth.
