Visiting hours in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Sunday 5-8 pm. Funeral Service in the funeral home Monday at 10:30 am. Obituary
Mr. Briggs died Thursday morning at the Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Englewood, California, son of the late Charles F. Briggs, Sr. and Cleo (Wetmore) Briggs. Resident of Brockton for the past 33 years. Previously lived in Brunswick, Maine. During Vietnam Conflict he served in the US Navy.
At the time of his illness he was the founder and owner of Video Visions Forever in Brockton a business he founded 20 years ago. He taught Videography at Brockton Community School. He loved hunting, fishing and golfing and he also enjoyed babysitting his grandson.
Survived by his wife, Maryellen (Fishman) Briggs, two sons, Tim A. Briggs and Adam A. Briggs and his wife Jennifer all of Brockton, one grandson Eric, a brother Gene F. Briggs of FL. and also the nephew of Gloria and Stan Conley of Schenectady, New York and several nieces and nephewsBrother of the late “Dale” Timothy Briggs
Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, Brockton Monday at 10:30 am. The Rev. James Gibney will officiate. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
