Obituary

Euclid E. "Spud" Belisle, 90 of Jenckes St. died on Thursday, August 12, 2010. He was the husband of Pauline C. (Tellier) Belisle. Mr. Belisle was born in Canada, a son of the late Alberic and Amanda (Tardif) Belisle. He worked for Rochambeau Worsted for fifty years. Mr. Belisle was a WWII Army Veteran. Spud was an avid Mt St. Charles hockey fan, he enjoyed his summers at the ocean but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter Renay Beksha and her husband Joseph, of Narragansett, a brother Lionel Belisle of Woonsocket, five sisters Candide and Albanie Belisle, and Theresa Gauvin all of Woonsocket, Flore Laferriere of N. Kingstown and Simone Pointon of VA, and his beloved grandsons Joseph and John. He was also the brother of the late Robert, Camille, Richard, and Rhea Belisle, and Laury Berard.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland . Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-7 PM
