John F. Cronin age 80 of Salem, NH died peacefully Saturday at the Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital, Haverhill, MA.
He was born in Medford, MA, where he grew up and attended schools. He was a resident of Salem, NH for 50 years.
Mr. Cronin was a retired Offset Pressman for George Dean & Company in Boston, MA. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Salem, NH, where he was a Eucharist Minister and was a member of the Consolers Group. He was a US Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War. John loved wood carving and was and all around handy man, who had a wealth of knowledge to teach and share. Most of all John’s family meant the most to him and he loved spending time with them.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Aug. 17 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH. Calling hours will be Monday, Aug. 16 from 4-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
