Estelle Mae Parsons, 80, of Londonderry, NH, passed from this life, Friday August 13th, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at home. She was born December 1, 1929 in Brookline, NH to the late Donald and Blanche (Marguerite) Porter.
Estelle loved crocheting, all types of dancing, gardening, cooking, her turkey dinners were famous, fishing when she was younger, eating sardines and raw hamburger. Mrs. Parsons was an incredible woman who loved taking care of her children and grandchildren, trips to Maine and Brookline, NH and the aromatic scent of lemon and orange. She loved having her hair brushed, will be remembered by her loving family for using tube socks to hang by the fireplace at Christmas time and was just an incredible woman to all who had the honor of meeting her. She was a mother to all and was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to listen. She was a woman who never held a grudge against anyone and shared all that she had with those less fortunate.
She leaves her 4 loving children, Kathy Sobolewski and her husband Edward Jr., Maureen Sullivan, Kimberly Maio and Maxwell Parsons and his wife Stacey, all of Everett, MA. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Denyse and her husband Edward Blinn Jr., Edward Sobolewski III, Christina Lucas, Jen Dillon and her husband T.J., Jessica, Jillian and Louis Maio and Olivia Parsons. Mrs. Parsons leaves her cherished great grandchildren, Stephanie Munion, Chase Meile, Eric Dillon and her brother, Robert Porter of Milford, NH. She was predeceased by her daughter, Anne Sullivan, sister, Patsy Porter and brother, William Porter.
The family received friends Tuesday from 5-7pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. The funeral service followed at 7pm in the funeral home.
