Obituary

Mrs. Christina E. Pellerin, of Woburn passed away August 9th at the age of 94 following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Pellerin. Born in Larry's River, Nova Scotia on February 12, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Georgest and Nancy (Mannette) Avery.

Mrs. Pellerin was a resident of Woburn since 1983. She came to the United States in 1948 and lived for a number of years in Cambridge and Brighton before settling in Woburn. Mrs. Pellerin worked for 35 years at several different family restaurants in Cambridge and Brighton prior to her retirement in 1983. She was an active parishioner of St. Barbara Church where she would attend mass frequently. Her faith was an important part of her life.

In addition to her late husband and parents, Mrs. Pellerin is preceded in death by two sons, the late Earl and Everett Pellerin. She is survived by her son, George N. Pellerin of Woburn with whom she lived with. She is also survived by her sisters, Regina Richard of Warwick, RI and Mabel Pellerin of Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass for Mrs. Pellerin will be celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn, Thursday, August 12th, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Boston. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Pelerine’s memory to the Minuteman Senior Services, 24 Third Ave., Burlington, MA 01803.
