In Taunton, August 8, 2010 Mary L. “Mayetta: (Larkin) wife of the late Joseph “Pete” St Laurent died at Morton Hospital in Taunton at the age of 92. Born in Taunton, Mary was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Sweeney) Larkin. She was a graduate of St Mary’s High School class of 1934 and a former member of the Queens Daughters. Mary was a self employed hairdresser and also worked for Taunton State Hospital, Massoit State Park and the Taunton Skating Rink. Mary was the mother of Peter St Laurent of Taunton, Paul St Laurent of Taunton, Mark St Laurent of No. Dighton and Thomas St Laurent of Taunton. Sister of Elizabeth “Betty” Bird of Falmouth and the late Margaret “Rita” Gibney. Grandmother of ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton, Thursday, August 12th at 8 am. Funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Taunton at 9 am. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5-8 pm. Interment Bourne National Cemetery at 11:15 am.
