Lydia M. (DiNardo) Dellorco 86, of Franklin, died Sunday August 8, 2010 at Caritas Norwood Hospital following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Emilio S. Dellorco who died in 1983.
Born in Leominster, April 5, 1924 a daughter of the late Antonio & Anna (Campia) DiNardo, she had lived in Leominster before coming to Franklin over 50 years ago.
Mrs. Dellorco was educated in Leominster schools, and worked for J&A Cleaners in Walpole. She also worked for the former Mr. Joseph’s catering in Franklin until her retirement.
Her interests included spending time with her family, bingo, bowling and trips to Foxwoods Casino.
She is survived by 2 sons; Paul A. Dellorco and his wife Amy of Franklin & Steven R. Dellorco and his wife Susan of Franklin, 3 brothers Billy, Raymond, & Bobby DiNardo all of Leominster, a sister Clara Longo of Harwich.
Also surviving are her grandchildren Paul D., Staci E., Sara A., & Olivia K. Dellorco and several nieces & nephews.
She was the sister of the late Rita Clancy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday August 11th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM.
Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-8PM.
