Rickey G. “Tire” Bailey age 54 of East Peoria, Illinois passed away at 1:18pm Friday Aug. 6, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. He was born March 24, 1956 in Peoria to Harold A. and Mabel E. (Christiansen) Bailey.
Surviving are one sister Sharon (Larry) Purcell of E. Peoria, one brother John (Lori Windows) Engstrom of Princeton, and his aunt Lois Simon of Princeton. Nieces and nephews; Tara (Mick) Veloso, Jana Purcell, Renda (Bob) Mineham, and Steve and Mike Engstrom.
Rickey was a welder and enjoyed everything about nature. He was a avid bird watcher and enjoyed flowers, fishing, wood carving, and music. He was a patriot and loved his country, and was of the christian faith.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be at 1:00pm Sat. Aug. 14, 2010 at the Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel.
