Rebecca (Becky) Stone White, of Fitzgerald, GA, died Wednesday, November 19, 2003, at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Friday, November 21, 2003, at the Ocilla Church of God, Ocilla with Rev. Clayton Dowd officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M., Thursday at Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald.
Mrs. White was born January 2, 1959 in Palatka, Florida to the late Henry Stone and Martha Hutchinson Stone. She was a cashier with Flash Foods in Ocilla and had also worked as a cashier with Murphy USA in Douglas. She was a former employee of Coats & Clark Manufacturing, and Elixir Industries in Douglas. Becky was a former resident of Douglas, Tifton, Ocilla, and Tampa, Florida. She was a member of the Ocilla Church of God.
Mrs. White is survived by: Husband, Raymond White of Fitzgerald; 3 Daughters, Amanda Taylor, Bonnie White, and Jasmine White – all of Fitzgerald; one son, Jason Stone of Ray City; 5 sisters, Lucille Barnett of Charleston, South Carolina, Nell Taylor of Douglas, Carolyn Whitley of Nichols, Wanda Mullinix of Easily, South Carolina, and Faye Roberson of Ocilla; 4 brothers, Melvin Stone, Kenny Stone, and Henry Stone – all of Douglas and J.W. Stone of Charleston, South Carolina; 4 Grandchildren also survive.
