Germaine L. (Cote) Baglini 97, died Wednesday at Oakland Grove Health Care Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Albert L. Branconnier and Augusto Baglini. Mrs. Baglini was born in Woonsocket, September 4, 1912 a daughter of the late Edmond J. and Alice (Cote) Cote. She lived forty four years in Cumberland before returning to her native Woonsocket. She had worked many years at various jobs but was mostly a homemaker and centered her life on her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a care giver for many aging relatives. Mrs Baglini was a powerful and lasting influence and even her great grandchildren quote her words of wisdom. She was a volunteer for Meals On wheels for many years.
Mrs. Baglini is survived by two sons Norman Baglini of Newtown Square, PA, and Robert Baglini of North Kingstown, a daughter Susan Maloney of Pompano Beach, FL, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Ralph Cote and Anita Houle.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Rd. Cumberland, RI. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday 5-8 PM.
