Mrs. Clara Hartley Deaton
Evans, GA – Mrs. Clara Hartley Deaton, age 76 entered into rest on Monday, August 2, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with the Reverend Charlie K. DeLoach officiating. Interment to follow at Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Deaton loved watching sports on television. She especially loved watching Braves baseball, Falcons and Georgia football, and also her favorite NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Mrs. Deaton also loved traveling to the mountains.
Mrs. Deaton is survived by her two sons, Wesley Thomas Hartley (Marcie Josie), and William David Hartley, Jr.; her three daughters, Lynn Hartley Shelton (John), Debbie Hartley Jewell (Nicky), and Becky Hartley Mills (David); her twenty grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Deaton’s grandsons.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, August 3, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
