Obituary

Oxford,
Nina Frances (McCausland) May, formerly of George St., passed away, Saturday, July 31, 2010
in the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester.
Her husband, Elwyn "Red" May died in 1975.
She leaves behind several nieces and nephews, including Kristopher Schudy and Jennifer Kiff and their families in California and Mary and Harry Thompson of Oxford.
Franny was predeceased by two brothers, Donald McCausland and Robert J.McCausland and two sisters, Marion Johnson and Beatrice Thompson.
She was born in Oxford, a daughter of Robert J. and Jessie (Taylor) McCausland and lived in Oxford and North Oxford all her life.
She graduated from the David Hale Fanning School.
Fran was a dressmaker and milliner and owned and operated the former Peggy's Hat Shop in Worcester for many years.
She taught dressmaking for the Night Life program at Worcester Girl's Trade.
Franny enjoyed sewing and travelling, especially to California every Christmas.
Funeral Services for Franny will be Friday, August 6, 2010 at 11 AM in the Robert J. Miller-Oxford Funeral Home, 247 Main St. Burial will be in North Cemetery.
There will be a calling hour on Friday, from 10 to 11 AM prior to the service.
