Carlis Stone, age 75, of Nicholls GA, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah GA. Mr. Stone, a native of Nashville GA was born June 05, 1935: he is the son of the late Perry and Ezzie Mae Mathis Stone. He was a farmer and a Veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict. Funeral services will be held 4:00 pm, Tuesday, August 03, 2010, at the Trinity Non-denominational Church near Douglas GA with Burial in the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery in Atkinson County, GA. The family will be receiving friends at Sims Funeral Home on Monday, Calling hours are 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
