WEBSTER – Alma O. (Landry) Cobb, Age 83, of 9 Hartley Street, died Tuesday, November 18, in Oakwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, Charles H. Cobb, Jr.; 4 sons, Charles H. Cobb, III, and Brian P. Cobb, both of Worcester, and Dennis P. Cobb and Kevin J. Cobb, both of Webster; a daughter, Jeanne A. McGovern of Webster; 1 grandson, 4 granddaughters, 4 great grandchildren, and nephews and nieces.
She was born in Claremont, New Hampshire, daughter of Napoleon and Mary Jane (LeClaire) Landry.
Mrs. Cobb was employed as a lens inspector at the American Optical Company in Southbridge for 20 years. Previously, she worked at Cranston Print Works Company in Webster.
She was a member of the Oxford Congregation of Jehovah’s witnesses. She enjoyed volunteer work and her public ministry.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 22, at 11:00 AM in the Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main Street. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday morning at the funeral home.
