John E. Brady Jr. 77,of the Soldiers Home in Chelsea formerly of Needham died on Sunday November 16th in Everett. A native and a resident of Needham for most of his life. Mr. Brady attended Needham High School before enlisting in the Navy. Mr. Brady was on the Submarine U.S.S. Fiske when it was torpedoed in the North Atlantic. A disabled American Veteran John was discharged in 1946. He later went to work for New York, New Haven Hartford Railroad until his retirement in the sixties. He was also a member of the VFW in Boston. John is the brother of Trudy J. Farnham, Marjorie S. Condon both of Needham and the late James Brady. Brother in law of Barbara Brady of Orlando FL. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services at the Christ Episcopal Church Chapel 1132 Highland Ave Needham on Friday Nov. 21st at 11:00AM. Visiting hours at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment services with military honors will take place at the Needham Cemetery.
