Obituary

Beatrice I. Bergeron, 82, of Manchester, died July 29, 2010 at the Elliot Hospital after a period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester, April 2, 1928 to Wilfred and Alice (Ducasse) Gagne. She lived in Manchester for many years before moving to Haines City, FL in 1989. She returned to Manchester in May of this year.

She had worked as a bookkeeper for Crawford Furriers and had worked many years at Uncle Bob’s Market as a cashier and bookkeeper. She had also worked for the NH State Liquor Commission as a sales associate before her retirement.

She was a member of the William H. Jutras Post #43 Auxiliary and the Catholic War Veteran’s Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Roland L. Bergeron who died in 1972 and by a long time companion, Armand Boucher who died in 2007.

Family members include her five children, Richard Bergeron of Ashaway, R.I., Donald Bergeron of Bedford, Irene Dalbec and Lori Ann Doucet, both of Manchester, and Paul Bergeron of Weare; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Doris Gionet of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, August 2, 2010 at Parish of the Transfiguration. Urn burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
