Doris V. Dango of Melbourne, Fl. formerly of Woburn, passed away at the Bethesda Senior Care Center in Palm Bay, Fl on July 26, she was the wife of the late Charles P. Dango.
Born in Cambridge, she was raised and educated in Dorchester where she graduated from St. Marks School for Girls. Doris was eighty-seven years old. The daughter of the late Nora (Melanson) and Frederick Pearson.
Following her marriage she and her husband settled in Woburn where she lived for over fifty years. Before her retirement to Florida. Doris worked for the New England Trust Company of Boston and finished her banking career with forty-six years of service with the Woburn National Bank, in Woburn. She enjoyed ceramics, and bowling with her friends in the winter and summer leagues at the Woburn Bowladrome.
In addition to her late husband she was predeceased by her late brother Frederick G. Pearson.
She is survived by her brother William R. Peterson who lives in Melbourne, Fl. along with several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Monday, August 2, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St. Woburn at 10. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting Hours at the funeral home will be on Sunday, August 1, from 4 thru 8.
Service will conclude with burial in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
