Therese (Belhumeur) Bernier 85, formerly of Halsey Rd. died Tuesday at Pine Grove Health Center. She was the wife of the late Normand Bernier. Mrs. Bernier was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Hormidas and Dorina (Boisclair) Belhumeur. She worked in several area knitting mills in her youth, and then worked as the bookkeeper for Bernier's Auto Body and Trailer Sales.
Mrs. Bernier is survived by her son Normand and his wife Theresa Bernier Jr. of North Smithfield and two grandsons Brian and Brendan Bernier.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
