Mary Estella “Stella” (Jacquard) Muise, 89 of Melbourne, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, died July 24 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ulysses Muise and the late Joseph Thibeau.
Born in Little Harbour, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, Mrs. Muise came to Franklin in 1960 and lived here until returning to Canada in 1986.
Mrs. Muise had worked at the McGill Box Company in Plainville for many years.
She enjoyed knitting, playing bingo and going to the casinos in Connecticut when she visited her family in Franklin.
She is survived by her children, Wallace Thibeau and his wife Susan of Franklin, Carolyn Sewell and her husband James of Franklin and Susan Tucci and her husband Robert of Franklin.
She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be private with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Franklin.
