Obituary

WEBSTER – Madeline (Maitland) DeMague, 89, formerly of Lake Parkway, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Webster Manor.

She leaves 6 nephews and nieces: David J. Maitland, Karen Maitland-Schilling, Lois Maitland Paire, James E. Maitland, Jr., James M. Kindler, and Diane E. Kindler; several grand nieces and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, George Maitland and James E. Maitland, Sr., and by a sister, Mildred Kindler.

She was born and raised in Fall River, a daughter of David and Mary (Greenwood) Maitland. She graduated from Sacred Hearts Academy in Fall River. She lived in Webster most of her life.

She was an operator for American Telephone and Telegraph for 40 years before she retired in 1982.

She was a member of Saint Louis Church. She was a Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 28, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley, at the convenience of the family A calling hour will be from 8:30 to 9:30 AM Wednesday, July 28, in the funeral home.
