Obituary

Goffstown– Rollande L. Villemure, 91, died July 24, 2010 at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born in St. Octave de Metis, P.Q. Canada on April 23, 1919 the daughter of Joseph and Elise (MacMullen) Grenon.
Prior to her retirement she and her husband Roland owned and operated Roland”s restaurant.
She was a secretary, treasurer of the Dames de Ste. Anne at Sacred Heart Parish, belonged to l’Ordre Seculier Franciscain at Ste. Marie’s, Association Canado Americaine, held secretary and treasurer positions for Les Coeurs Joyeux from 1985 to 1991, was a founding member of the Columbiettes, Notre Dame Council 5163 and president from 1985 to 1986, and was bestowed the honor of Franco American of the Year in 2002.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and volunteering.
She was predeceased by her first husband Roland Gonthier in 1992.
Family members include her husband of 14 years Gerard Villemure of Manchester, 2 daughters, Mrs. John (Estelle) M. Hill, of Goffstown, Claire Vaillancourt, of Manchester, 6 siblings, Leopold Grenon of Bedford, Gisele Banks of Utah, Benoit Grenon of Maine, Claude Grenon of Bedford, Roger Grenon of Florida, Paul Grenon of Goffstown, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Her Life: She leaves 4 grandchildren, Richard Vaillancourt, Shelby Jariz, Andrew Hill, Anne Robicheau, and 2 great grandchildren, Colbi Vaillancourt and Berklee Vaillancourt.
Services: Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in Ste. Marie Church, Notre Dame Ave.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
