Obituary

Claudine M. (Vignali) Maloney, 61, of Whitman, passed away on Wednesday July 21st after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of 30 years to the late James E. Maloney (They met on a blind date and were married for 30 years).

She was born in Paris, France, daughter of the late Marcel and Lucienne (Lumaghini) Vignali. Claudine came to this country in 1960.

Claudine graduated from Northeastern University and was an emergency room x-ray technician for over 20 years, working for Boston City Hospital, now known as Boston Medical Center and also New England Medical Center.

She was very active in the Whitman community, leading Campfire groups for many years, teaching CCD classes and bible study.

She also enjoyed painting, her garden and music.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Angela Maloney of Whitman, Crystal Maloney of Brockton, her beloved grandchildren, Robert and
Amber Rothwell, both of Brockton ,sister of Patrick Vignali of Boston, Fred Vignali of Plymouth, Annie Kidd of Quincy and Christine Ripley of Cape Cod ;also many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. She was also the sister of the late Giles Vignali.

Her services will be held on July 28th at 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Interment will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday July 27th from 4:00-7:00PM.
