Kevin Christopher Curtis, 45, of South Glenwoods Road passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, July 24, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Lisa (Foltz) Curtis and his daughter Carly Rae Curtis and son Ty Alden Curtis.
Kevin was born June 2, 1965 in New London. He is survived by his mother Irene (Fallat) Curtis of Norwich and his father Lonnie and his wife Anne Curtis of Mystic.
He is also survived by his four brothers Ronald Curtis and his wife Maria of Preston, Michael Curtis and his wife Jill of Madison, Timothy Curtis and his wife Kerry of Preston and Lonny Curtis of Solona Beach CA.
Kevin was a retired detective with the Groton Police Department.
Please join the family to celebrate Kevin's life, love, humor and strength on Wednesday from 4 to 7pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic and on Thursday at 10am at Ledyard Congregational Church, Ledyard Center. Burial will follow in Avery-Stoddard Cemetery.
