Mary R. (Riordan) Domingos of Easton died at home after a short illness on Saturday July 24, 2010. She was the loving wife of Manuel J. Domingos for 58 years. She was born in Brockton, a daughter of the late Kathleen (Quill) and Michael Riordan. Mrs. Domingos graduated from Brockton High School in 1947 and from Stonehill College in 1977. She was a Third Order Franciscan. Active in politics, she was a Past President of the League of Women Voters. Mary was self employed, selling Avon products for 27 years and was distinguished as a member of Avon’s President’s Club. An avid reader, she also enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her children, Ellen Gleason; Barry Domingos and his wife Rocio; David Domingos and his wife Darlene and Mary Anne Litton and her husband James, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother John D. Riordan and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Brendon Riordan and Kathleen Lydon.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, South Easton at 10am. Burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, North Easton. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5 Manley St.,W.
