Catherine A. (Clark) Sullivan, a resident of Canton and former resident of Charlestown, died on Friday, July 23, 2010 at The Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton following a lengthy illness. She was 98 years old.
Catherine was born in Boston on July 6, 1912 to the late Walter E. and Margaret (Coleman) Clark. She grew up in Charlestown and attended Boston Public Schools. Catherine has been a homemaker most of her adult life.
Catherine is the beloved wife of the late Francis A. Sullivan. She is the devoted mother of Philip G. Sullivan M.D. of Monument Beach, Sr. Rita Imelda Sullivan O.P. of Rosary Academy, Margaret Wenger of Canton and Frances Reinfrank of Vermont. She is the loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She is the beloved sister of the late Ella Sullivan, James Clark, Walter Clark and David Cleary.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Catherine's Funeral Service on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours will be on Monday, July 26, 2010 from 3 to 6 p.m.
