John F. “Jack” Curley age (80) of E. Bridgewater passed away Monday, July 21, 2010. He was the son of the late John T. and Delephine (King) Curley. Jack had been married to Leila (Ohman) Curley for 57 years. He graduated from E. Bridgewater High School and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Jack worked 34 years for the E. Bridgewater School system as a custodian; he was also a call firefighter for 35 years in E. Bridgewater. He loved to camp, fish, help others, and travel.
He is survived by his wife, Leila A. Curley, his children Donna M. (Curley) Noon and her husband Kenneth of North Carolina, and John M. Curley and his companion Lisa Arena of Bridgewater, a brother Donald Curley of Middleboro, a sister Arlene Curley of Florida and late brother William P. Curley. Grandchildren, Shawn E. Noon of Colorado, Leslie DelleFave and her husband Michael of Brookline, Angela M. Noon of Maryland, and Brian M. Curley of Washington D.C. He is also survived by a nephew, nieces and many friends.
A funeral mass will be held Monday, July 26 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John’s Church, 210 Central St. E. Bridgewater. In lieu of a wake the family will receive friends at the Church 1 hour prior to the mass. Donations in Jack’s name may be made to: “St. Vincent de Paul” c/o St. John’s Church, 210 Central St. E.
