Fernande A. Letendre, 89, of Ft. Myers, FL, died July 21, 2010 in Ft. Myers, Fl after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester, August 27, 1920 to Henri and Flora (Perreault) Spenard. She lived in Manchester for many years and had been a resident of Florida the past several years.
She had worked for a time for Pandora Industries in Manchester.
She was married to Fernand J. Letendre, who died in 2003.
Family members include a son, Norman W. Letendre and his wife, Anita, of Estero, FL; a daughter, Lorraine M. Letendre of Miami, FL; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Letendre and his wife, Alex, of Rochester, NY and Jay Letendre and his wife, Kenda, of Ft. Myers, FL; two great grandchildren, Evangelia “Lia” Letendre and Peter Letendre, both of Rochester, NY; four sisters, Irene Sturgill, Lucille Bourque, both of Manchester, NH, Sr. Henri Bertrand, P.M. and Sr. Jeannine Spenard, P.M., both of New Ipswich, NH; a brother, Laurier “Larry” Spenard of Portsmouth, NH; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by five brothers, Conrad, Edward, Donald, Andre and Leon; and by two sisters, Theresa Chouinard and Claire Prince.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, July 26, 2010 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester, NH. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery
