Salvatore A. Doto, 83 of Medford formerly of Revere died Saturday after a brief illness in the Aberjona Nursing Center Winchester, MA.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Mariano and Concetta (Benetti) Doto. Mr. Doto was a Mechanic, with Abbot Equipment formerly of Boston for over 40 years and was a member of Local 4. Salvatore was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II from 1942 to 1946. He also enjoyed Sports.
Beloved husband of Raffaela “Lou” (Pasquale). Devoted father of James Doto of Woburn, John Doto and his wife Nancy of Medford, Marty Doto and his wife Karen of Melrose, Connie Doto of Salem, NH, Marie Finn and her husband Peter of Winthrop. Also survived by 9 loving grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Phyllis, Michael, Joe and Tony Doto.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
