Mary U. (Moretto) Scalese, 51 of Medford died Friday after a brief illness at the Massachusetts General Hospital Boston, MA.
Born in Winthrop, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Flora (Vacca) Moretto.
Mrs. Scalese was a Administrator Assistant, at Medford High School for the past 15 years. Mary was a 1967 Revere High School graduate and received a Associates Degree from the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School.
Mary was the beloved wife of Tony Scalese of Medford. Devoted mother of Mark and Andrew Scalese both of Medford. Sister of Charles Moretto of Boston and Florida, Albert Moretto of Peabody. Daughter-in-law of Teresa Scalese of Cambridge. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford/Somerville the Rev. James O'Driscoll officiating. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Friends may visit Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
